We have 4 seats on the Board that are up for reelection. Intent to refile for 3 of those seats has been given. Richard Jacobsen, John Coers and Susan Proctor have chosen to refile. If anyone would like to run against any of those current board members you can simply fill out the Solicitation form attached and the position will go to vote. Otherwise, I have not heard whether John Melvin in Region 3 would like to refile so we would be looking for another candidate in Region 3. Also, we need to fill the open spot left by the untimely passing of Tom Clayman in Region 2.

We want to welcome and congratulate our new Junior Representative to the MSBA Board of Directors, Katie Patterson. Katie is the 18 year old daughter of Scott and Melanie Patterson of Farmington, Illinois. She will be a Senior at Farmington Central High School. Katie is actively involved in both FFA and 4-H where she has held numerous offices. Katie and her family have been raising Montadales for 11 years now and they participate in many shows at county, state and national levels.
As a junior member to the Board, Katie will attend Board Meetings and conference calls where she will have the opportunity to be the voice for the Junior Members of the Association. |
